Medical Purpose:

Kaia COPD is classified as a medical device designed to facilitate pulmonary rehabilitation for individuals diagnosed with COPD. Upon each use, the app delivers new instructional modules aimed at encouraging physical activity and supporting proactive symptom management. It is intended for adults aged 18 and older with a confirmed diagnosis of COPD (J44.-), provided contraindications are absent and other conditions requiring targeted treatment are excluded. It should be noted that Kaia COPD does not diagnose medical conditions or injuries and does not replace consultation with healthcare professionals.

Contraindications include but are not limited to:

<li>Advanced heart failure (I50.-); other cardiovascular disorders (I51.-)</li>
<li>Pulmonary embolism, pulmonary artery infarction (I26.-), or deep vein thrombosis (I80.2-)</li>
<li>Presence of infection or symptom exacerbation with increased dyspnea (J44.1-)</li>
<li>Pregnancy (O09.-)</li>
